I'm pretty hyped for x right now and I was thinking playing xenoblade would be a good way to hold me over, my brother rented it a while ago and from what I played it was a lot of fun he just sent it back to soon

 

Also it's damned expensive in the uk and looking around I don't think I found anything sub 40 quid apart from argos but my local store doesn't have it in stock.

 

Should I perhaps try visiting the dolphin? (what's the rule on discussing emulators here being off topic of course)

 

Think there's a chance of an official hd remake for wii u?

Been said it's not a direct sequel and give what we have seen they are right. That said yes you should play it regardless.

Buy the game it's that good to own it then play on Dolphin. That way not a pirate Mcguffin who deserves hell from burning q-tips rammed in your ear. 40quid. I payed about that when it came out to import it plus the shipping was like 80$. Same with TLS but was worth every penny so much so I bought them again in the US when they released later. Tho I spent a few hundred on the games and merch all together eek lol and I am a poor mofo to begin with.

 

What I have seen has nothing to do with the first game from what I have seen. XBX is more Saga/gears/Blade meets Phantasy Star and Phantasy Star Online.

You should play it either way because it's a good game

But it doesn't really matter if you did play it or not, you may not understand some references but it's a different story with different characters, so It's like Zelda, same timeline, different eras.

Buy it, flip over to the gorgeous reversible artwork cover. Its a game that physically belongs in a collection.

It can also easily be a 100+ hour game. Go a good ways towards the wait to 2015.

Amazon UK is just under £44 new and to be honest the game deserves that price, if anything it will stay around that price and maybe go up in value pre-owned in years to come. A good conditioned copy now will keep you busy and become a collectors item you will want to keep.

During the tree house event for Xenoblade Chronicles X, they said the game doesn't pick up where Chronicles Wii left off but it picks up on some of the "philosophical" points. So you don't have to worry about being lost, storywise, when the game drops.

But as others have said, it Chronicles Wii is a very very great game and should be played regardless. I myself am looking to buy it

Gamestop got another shipment of xenoblade prints. This makes #4.

The first shipment sold almost 900k. This is the only shipment tracked.

The second shipment sold through @90 bucks a pop.

The third shipment switched to 49 bucks after black friday.

The fourth shipment is now at gamestop, brand new, but cut out of plastic to be sold as 'used' instead of the 20 cheaper msrp. Also 49 bucks.

Man I wish we had numbers for the other shipment 'used' sales.

Games probably past 2 mil by now.

3dude as a fellow XB fan you need this book. Think Xenogears Perfect works but for Xenoblade. Granted if your significant other will let you pay 80$ for a book lol because I know some never want to pay that much.
