According to Gfaqs it's the second coming of Jesus, games journalism says it's an early goty candidate, and Miiverse says it's awesomeness. Make of that what you will.

Miiverse doesn't count since they love everything, gamefaqs doesn't count either lol, games jounralism again lol. It might be good but I'd wait for a discount (I try to wait for discounts on anything personally haha).

Its like an impossibly good looking 8 bit nes game, made with the fantastic design sensibilities of a late 16 bit gen Capcom, when they still had a soul.

I'd say it definitely deserves the hype. It's solid mechanically and also has a lot of heart and character.

I just bought Armillo, shovel knight and guacamelee.... they are all really good.
