Yuichiro Takeda, one of the major writers on Xenoblade, has re-tweeted the Japanese announcement about the Super Smash Bros. character reveal coming on Monday. Perhaps it’s a sign that Shulk will be revealed as the latest roster addition? We’ll just have to wait and see. Nintendo will make the next character for Super Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS known on Monday. The announcement is set for 10 AM ET / 7 AM PT.

Really excited! Can't wait to see how he'll fight. I wonder what his final smash will be? I really hope this happens!

Reyn would be an interesting character per say.

 

Personally, judging by Monolith Software's obsession with him, I'd lean to Riki. Preferred would be Reyn, Dunban, or Melia.


Games that refuse to use Gameplay effectively to do anything are like films that refuse to use cinematography in film to do anything.

Ricky would be an amazing smash character.

Hell they all would. Well, except Sharla, 90% of her moveset is healing/support.

But... for the purposes of smash, and differentiation of characters already in smash (mainly from fire emblem)

The best picks for Xenoblade would be shulk, Riki, And Deathbotmurdercyborg9000 aka Fiora.

Dunban could be an alt for marth, Reyn could be an alt for ike or something... and melia could be an alt for Zelda.

Sharla.... Would best be used for a support character.

Well so far the Gematsu leak hasn't been proven wrong yet, so if Shulk gets in I wouldn't too surprised. 

 

That said, I am very excited because he's the only new character left that I want to see after Mega Man and Little Mac got confirmed.

My favorite character may have been Dunban, but I am more than happy with Shulk.  Of course, if anyone would get in from Xenoblade, it would Shulk.

If Shulk gets in, I want him to do cool Monado things and not just things like Back Slash and such. Hee could be the most badass character ever, or he could just be a swordsman.

Well, because Palutena is a non judeo-christian god/goddess, and the protagonists of all (non namco garbage) xeno games kill non judeo-christian gods like deity serial killers.

Oh man. I can already see a fan series on YouTube about this. Or even a stupid spin-off game. And honestly, IT SOUNDS AWESOME.
