This is what I think how Shulk could be in Smash Bros.

He's a lightweight character, which means he's fast (although not as fast as say Sonic or Captain Falcon). He also attacks fast. However, he can be knocked back easily. He's also pretty weak, and his attacks don't do much knockback.

Similar to Little Mac, he would have a gauge above his character icon. This represents his Talent Gauge. It can be filled slightly by him using his normal attacks (not special), or it can increase a bit more if he gets attacked. It can also be filled using a third way, using a move mentioned later. Once the talent gauge is filled up, he can activate his Monado, which he can then do one of three moves in coordination of which special is used, which will be explained later.

Notable Attacks:

Side Tilt: Slit Edge. Shield breaker. Does moderate damage.

Down Throw: Daze Attack. No knockback. Dazes opponent.

Up Smash: Monado Purge. No knockback, little damage. However, opponents getting hit get a lot of hitstun and will be frozen in place for like 2 and a half seconds. More you charge, larger the range.

Side Smash: Back Slash. Damage doubles if attacked behind opponent. Meteor Smash, so good for edge-guarding. Could be used in combination with Monado Purge or Daze Attack.

Down Smash: Monado Shield. Attacks opponents in its range. It's also a reflector.

Neutral Special: Foresight. Counter-attack.

Side Special: Stream Edge. Long ranged attack. Goes through opponents. Good horizontal recovery.

Up Special: Air Slash. Jumps up in the air, pauses for half a second and then slashes. Slash sends opponent upwards, so good way to send opponent upwards.

Down Smash: Battle Soul. Fills talent gauge, but adds 35%/-35HP each time you use it. Monado can be activated if talent gauge is filled. Can be activated using Neutral Special. Cannot be disabled unless you do a move or die.

Monado Moves:

Side Special: Monado Buster. Shulk traps opponents, and does a really powerful blow. Lots of knockback and damage.

Up Special: Monado Speed. Makes Shulk faster and let him easily dodge attacks for 10 seconds.

Down Special: Monado Enchant. Gives attack power and knockback boost to Shulk for 10 seconds.

Final Smash: Chain Attack. Opponent(s) needs to be next to Shulk. All 7 main playable character come up and you can choose one of two moves for each character, but you have to choose for each character in 3 seconds.

Just thought this out overnight.
