I personally don't care for the screen with all the Mii avatars all over it. (I don't even understand the purpose this screen serves).
I would like the screen that displays my games list to be displayed first every time I boot up the Wii console. If anyone has any idea as to how to make that happen please do share. Thanks.

Nope. You cannot at boot. You can just press X on the controller to switch what is on the TV tho.
Quick boot option just takes you to specific apps.

Yep.
And to be honest it doesn't really make much sense to make an option to switch them permanently. It make more sense to have the game on the bottom screen. That way you can tap which game you want instantly for quicker access. Also f you're using it as a portable that's the more important screen. much better for usability.

I actually don't use the TV screen right now. I go from boot screen to game screen.

Yeah a small annoyance for you but you'll have to just hit X every time you start up.
