Nintendo of Europe has advertised some of the contents of the first DLC pack that will be available. No release date was given for the pack, but the B Dasher kart makes its return.

Takes me back to the days of MKDS

Until MK8 I have not liked a Mario Kart since 64. I felt for years MK series was not trying very hard and a bit stale and lazy. MK8 has fixed that. Even tho not a fan of DD it was the last game until MK8 that actually tried in balance and course designs and such. This DLC as a whole not speaking on the DS kart is really making the game that much better. I'm really liking Nintendo this gen as they are putting FAR more effort in their games than they did most of Wii's offerings. Not all just most. Wii U and Nintendo feels more like 16 bit Nintendo without the prudish censoring.

I really am looking forward to the new courses. Looks like a few retro courses and brand new ones. The Animal Crossing one and FZero have my eye.

Except it is new, as it's the first we've seen of the mystery karts in the DLC pack.

 

Loved it in Mario Kart DS, love it here. Slick, simple design.
