She's well known for transforming her appearance for movie roles.

But off-screen Renee Zellweger, 45, displayed an astonishingly different look at ELLE's 21st annual Women In Hollywood Awards at the Four Seasons Hotel in California on Monday.

The Jerry Maguire actress looked almost unrecognisable with her super line-free forehead, altered brow and suspiciously puffy face, although she has never admitted to getting surgery.

She isn't even recognizable anymore. Though she clearly has a very good plastic surgeon, unlike Joan Rivers...

she is one of those cute sometimes and WTF other times depending on the photo and lightning. Always been that way

She had too much fat removed from her face and neck, has much skin removed from between the eyes and eyebrows (which is sad. That was a feature that made her eyes stand out in a very good way), and is now growing the random eyebrow hairs closer to her eyes instead of plucking and shaping. It's a few subtle things that really add up. Looks like a slight nose tuck too.

Saw this s couple months ago. She was always so pretty. Whether totally toned up or a little pudgy. But this isnt tight. She basically sacrificed her best signature features for some idea she had to look like someone else.
