I was a teenager and I started playing Metroid Prime 2. I had so much fun playing it. The graphics were top-notch at the time - as good as Halo 1 on the right TV. The game was $50-$60 and I got it for $15 by an ad mistake. Whether this game has withstood the test of time well is arguable, but I still had a great experience with the game. The music is still in my head many years later. And just when I guesstimated the game was about to end, it hit its prime.

Another story. I was roughly six years old and I memorized Mega man X so well, I became a master at this game when I could probably just barely read.

When I was a lot younger maybe 9 or 10 I stayed up till 4 am playing the virus mode in timesplitters future perfect with a friend of mine. Being 9 or however old I was this was a big thing for me and I couldn't believe the time when I saw it. Really hope they bring out a new timesplitters at some point :(

I picked up this game when I was 10 years old, was a birthday gift. It was my first basketball game for the NES. I was a big fan of sports as a kid (still am) and this game and Bases Loaded took up quite a bit of my free time.

When I was 11, I entered a Guitar Hero competition at my town's Play n' Trade.

I got third place and almost cried.

Phantom Hourglass was an experience in and of itself. First game I really got into. Absolutely blew my 8-year old mind.
