Well they have nominated it for best fighting game so idk what their thinking is. Perhaps there are different rules for the different categories.

The thing that I don't like about the VGAs is that almost all of the games in the big categories just recently came out. Most of them roll on hype alone. Wait about a month or two after the big games come out to see how they do. But that won't happen so they can get their GOTY advertisements for Christmas.

Bayonetta 2 lost GoTY to Dragon Age: Inquisition and Best Action/Adventure game to Shadow or Morder.
