Do you think the experience an Amiibo should/could be cross game. Like this:
You level the Link Amiibo with Smash Bros to lvl50. Ofcourse that Amiibo will unlock something in The Legend of Zelda WiiU, but the experience from other games are taken into account resulting in a stronger, better Amiibo then when using a stock Amiibo.

By doing so, Nintendo would stimulate to buy more Amiibo enabled games, since you character won't only evolve around 1 game but on all games.

What the world needs is more geniuses with humility, there are so few of us left

It's not a bad idea but from what I have heard about the design of the Amiibos it doesn't seem possible.

This statement is false. The previous statement is true.

RIP in peace Nintendo.

It's possible. What wasn't possible was the games all saving different information.

If they all just read/write the Smash Bros. data then it could work.

Interesting idea but I don't think we need stronger Amiibo lol. StarFox says hello.

:)

Speaking of Amiibo, I think Nintendo should take the settings for it out of SETTINGS, and instead create an App for it. I also think it would be cool having a personal Amiibo Plaza. Each users would be different depending upon the characters you have. Your amiibo figures would walk around the plaza, stats could be quickly tracked and looked over by selecting the figure in the plaza, you could edit names and whatever  else. Similar in scope to wara wara plaza and  some of the unique things the Animal Crossining plaza has,.

Isn't the Amiibo linked to your NNID? Then they could have all the save data in your Wii U, 3DS, and online.

That is true but he's saying they could all share the same Smash Bros. data and not write their own data. Eg Mario Kart reading that your amiibo is level 50 and adjusting it's difficulty depending. As long as it's not writing game specific data then it wouldn't be taking up any extra space.

I have a couple of questions about amiibo. can you use a single amiibo with multiple games (save data) if not how do you delete the data. Also in smash Wii U my kids were using their amiibo and it was fighting by itself and upgrading the level... is this how it always work? i though the player played with the amiibo character and over time as they improved they level up and such. are we doing something wrong?

No, the only data that gets written to the Amiibo is from SMASH. No other games that support Amiibo write to them. There is an Amiibo settings in the Wii U menu in which you can manage the data.

Yes, you fight against the amiibo to level it up, feed it special things and tweak.

You never play as the amiibo.
