I would like someone to make an animation of the picture I have below spinning into view in the bottom right corner of the composition, pulsing a few times, and then spinning back out for a total animation time of maybe 10 seconds. The background needs to be transparent and preferably make it an avi if that's possible. A frame rate of 30 or higher would be appreciated too lol. If you need more details, I'll try to elaborate to the best of my abilities. I have After Effects, but I've only ever played around with the particle effects and audio visualizer, so I have no idea how to do anything else. 

 

Edit: the picture I put below should have a transparent background already, if that helps.

after effects for this is a little overkill ya? Sorry, I haven't renewed in so long, Im not sure which computer its on...

 

Sounds like something any open source or free ware dealie can do with ease anyways, just need rotations and zooms/pans.

Test:

 

Speed variations tests. Probably go with the slower pulse speed, then hit a pause.  

 

The avi might look all right if its tiny in the bottom corner of your vid, it will definately be cleaner than the compressed gif here, but that was a pretty low qual image, and a jpeg to boot.... So its probably not going to be particularly clear and legible.

 

Ima go watch some TV and then finish this up later if you want.

Sorry, what file type should I set it as to get a transparent background lol. I haven't worked with my photoshop in a while either

Oh and I probably should have put up more detail on the whole spin thing, sorry. I was thinking something similar to this video around 5 seconds where the little icon spins as it gets bigger. And then I was thinking that just one pulse that's a little slower would be good enough. Then just have it wait for like 10 seconds and then spin back out and have it shrink (basically just reverse the way it enters).

Oh wow lol, I guess that's convenient. I also changed the picture I provided at the top to a png, so I hope that helps.

I've got an aftereffects cc license and got the skills to accompany it, so if you guys really don't achieve what you need, then let me know.
Ps, you can export to mov if you need to keep the transparency in the moviefile. Also. You could export to targa or photoshop fileformat to achieve the same. In Premiere you can import those files as a picture sequence, that way you can use it as a layover for future film edits.

As i think of it, this effect can be done really easy in Premiere itself. No need for ae

Anyways, here is an after effects project file for my eq effect:

Remove all my custom files which will be marked as "missing files" and replace with your own ones. Then open the effects on "black solid 1" and change the layer to your song you want to show the EQ spectrum for.

 

I hope you have cs6 or higher or I will have to find out how to convert it down to cs5 or whatever you use xD
