Well I could repost my mantra, but that would be redundant.

In all seriousness, why does this thread exist? I'm pretty sure a discussion thread already exists for this game...

(heck, I even made one at one point :P)

Lol....

Well, if the search function worked Im sure he would have found the the old threads.

Most of us are super stoked, I know myself personally being an overworld Zelda fan of old, has felt rather ignored since Oot, which lead to a series of go straight to the dungeon and do puzzles entries, so Im glad to see an end to the hub based spatial compression world design.

Game still looks a little rough around the edges, things like missing texture layers in conspicuous places, and other tell tale signs of a work in progress.

But taking in the general scene composition, Like Xenoblade, and Xenoblade chronicles X its so refreshing to see a hand designed world of this scale. It really does make a night and day difference between procedural generation.

Looking at monoliths past involvement with Zelda, I suspect Zelda U and Xenoblade X are sharing some engine tech.

Was my post removered?

Well anyway, I like the looks of it. The trailer looked amazing, that gameplay looked a bit meh but it has time to improve. Should be a fun game, possibly one of the best games of all time if it works out okay.

Loved the reveal trailer.

The game awards gameplay did nothing for me, which is strange.

I'm looking forward to it and that's about it.

I suggest when starting a thread, putting a bit more into it then that... kind of gets the conversation going and prevents people from trolling.

I agree. I was astonished though with how many were worrying about the lack of "life" in the open world.

1. The game is unfinished

2. During the video at the game awards they made mention about wildlife, eating apples off of trees etc.

3. If X is something to go by given its huge world, it looks so vibrant and full of life... Zelda is going to have no issues in that regard.

Didn't add anything to the thread.

I found this little quote from the interview between Miyamoto and Ijustine back in December to be a bit revealing,

“There may even be times when you forget what your goal is because you’re doing other things on the side… What we’re trying to do is design it in a way that you don’t necessarily have to sit down and play it for a super long time, but kind of more matched to today’s lifestyle where you can think for a little bit and say ‘oh, I just wanna play for a little bit today’ and do this one thing, and get that done and then take a break.'”

I know. I was wondering if it was removed or didn't post correctly.

True, and honestly... the search function really does suck... I tried searching for "Majora's mask" yesterday and it didn't find anything...

We don't really know much about it... But the huge open over world is a nice change. That was one of my complaints about Skyward Sword.

Well this game has me more hyped than I have ever been for a game before!  The game is supposed to be nearly the size of Kyoto, the graphics style is right up my alley, the open world looks splendid (although a little lifeless, but they are still a year from release) and the boss battles that start one place and end another sounds like it will take the normal Zelda battles and put them into epic proportions!

I was once known here as KillerMario, but since I really like Banjo-Kazooie, I changed my display name to show them my respect :)
