Yes a video is the same as playing isn't it. That's why we never play games just watch them.

What the hell are you saying?

No it's mechanics function and game design is very similar to CoD. It has wall running and all but overall it's a marginally improved CoD but since AW ripped off Titanfall the circle is complete.

Overall they're both focused on fast multilayer that doesn't always "make sense" like throwing a knife over a building and killing someone

There's a difference between saying "similar to CoD" and saying "pretty much the same as CoD". Of course there's going to be similarities, both series share the same developers after all, but that doesn't mean it's the same game, especially considering that the new additions make you play the game in a completely different way.

And CoD expanding its movement options in response to Titanfall isn't something to be held against the game as a flaw.

What... How is Titanfall at all like UT?

Titanfall is a game about frantically aiming at small and very fast player models that are constantly jumping, zig zagging and diving in and out of vehicles while simultaneously using your movility options to avoid getting shot yourself. That's exactly what you spend the majority of the time doing in UT2k4's onslaught mode.

Of course there's a crap load of other things in which the games differ, but I said they were similar, not identical.

If you enjoy CoD then you'd probably enjoy Titanfall as it's CoD with a few additions but you can't really expect the rest of us to believe it's far from being that.

Fast movement speed coupled with skill based movement and a much higher skill ceiling ascends it beyond simply being "CoD with mechs" if you ask me. Or rather, I guess it's more accurate to say "CoD with mechs and a wall run" is a much more interesting concept for a multiplayer game than regular CoD.
