The idea to develop a new Metroid Prime title came along with the New 3DS, with controls suited to the title. Ideally, the plan was for the game to arrive alongside the hardware but, well, it’s a little late! If I’m honest, we did look into a Wii U version. However, we had to consider the resources it would take, what teams to devote for a Wii U game.

I can tell there's not enough resources... the game looks horrible, graphically.

It looks fun for what it is but i agree. When i first saw Blast Ball at the NWC's I thought it was a Mii Plaza game (as i said elsewhere on the forums) I think one of the commentators also said your Mii goes into the robot or something. So there ya go.

this should be an original eshop title or something, not metroid

If anyone honestly thinks Nintendo will cancel the game because of an online petition, I'm the pope.
On the other hand, it may give them more motivation to make the best game possible and change up some things within the game.
It looks fun within the core co-op gameplay, but doesn't give me the Metroid vibe from what i've seen.

Why would I be an entitled spiteful idiot to do that?
It's a companion game and nothing wrong with the game just Nintendo should had showed Metroid Proper first or the same time like Fusion and Prime. Hunters came out and we knew another Prime was on the way. The game is fine. Just bad timing and presentation.

The game is slowly growing on me. More because of I like the co-op. Not into the art style but if the gameplay is fun, I'd take it.
