I don't get why people say that politics is boring, it's vital for social change and the success of whole countries - not to mention it effects you on a personal basis. Political parties differ so much in their ideologys ond policies that I don't understand why anyone could find it boring.

Load of men arguing in a posh room= boring.
Effects on daily life= not boring.
It's the actual debates and stuff I find boring :b.

Not so much today. They all are meant to benefit the corporations who buy the parties out. America needs some actual candidates who aren't rich, candidates that represent the middle and lower class. Although I hate the tea partiers, they got close to actually creating an actual party.
The Occupy movement actually has the potential behind pushing forward an actual candidate. This candidate would be closer to the people than the stockholders and rich cats in the white house.

Well until we get a communist system to work without people corrupting it, democracy is the best option we have :D

That's the problem. I seriously believe that Communism is a good idea on paper. It just sucks on practice.

See, not everyone cares about how countries are run, what will the government will do for it's future, problems of nations and why conflicts arise etc.
While I am mildly interested in this subject, I can see why people find it boring or uninteresting.

I honestly believe that the biggest flaw is ignorance and arrogance of the USA. The USA is just a little too cocky. Take a look a the Vietnam war, the USA thinking that it is the invincible army and government can shape all others took a beating from North Vietnam for nothing. Almost the same think happened with the Korean War, another beating for nothing and it is all thanks to the ignorance of the USA.

You know, it's sad, but have you ever watched a non-voting day of your country's parliament/whatever?
There's literally no more than 5 people there.

Yes, I have.
It was boring.
And I said loads because what most people consider 5 people a lot, as 5+ people in a group in real life scares me.
A lot.

I'm glad I won't have to vote when I'm older.

Politics is singlehandedly the most boring thing in known to mankind.
