Time Lord Science? Hammerspace? Transporter Buffers?I have to say Zelda still is very unrealistic, not in terms of graphics, but items. I mean, HOW THE HELL DOES LINK PUT SUCH A HUGE ITEM IN HIS POCKET!?!?!?! Not only that, but he puts a WHOLE BUNCH of huge items in his pocket!

I don't think there's anything wrong with developers pushing the envelope for realism in both graphics and gameplay,
but there should be room and appreciation for many different visual styles of games.
I think the bigger issue is the majority of gamers who dismiss games of a lesser "visual realism," thinking of them as lesser games,
and missing out on fun, unique, and sometimes epic experiences. Gamers should critique games as a whole, not just for visual realism.
A lot of my friends wouldn't play LoZ Wind Waker because of the Cell shaded graphics... They missed out.

This reminds me of an awesome documentary I saw on Discovery Channel. It was about the USA's super weapons, including drones. There was like this big joy-stick which made the 'pilots' able to control the drone. The did it all with a black-white screen, since otherwise it would be to game-like and they could start controlling it like it is. (e.g. dropping random bombs, shooting random people)
Anyways, my answer is a big no.
They are getting quite realistic, but it can always be better. I don't think it can get too real, except for some shooters like Battlefield since people way copy the behavior.
