That is, if there will be any info AT ALL. Like, don't get your freakin' hopes up. When will the meeting be held, and when will the info probably be released? I'm talking about things like an exact time.

It isn't clear if the meeting is today (April 26 in Japan, 25 in the west) or tomorrow (26 in the west). Expect news, if any, between now and Friday.

The meeting is today they are going to sleep in japan it's 11:41 PM

Nintendo's usually good with names. Even Wii and Wii U have a certain charm to them.

I was for it but now that I think about It I would be in favor of a name change. I want something new a brand new name for a brand new system that is HD and a supposedly 3rd party power house. Give me a more retro or a new headturing hardcore roll off the tongue name.

They sold too many Wii units for all of the sudden change the name. Did you guys see Sony changing the Playstation name... No. It's already in the fabric of pop culture, it would be stupid to change the name now. We'll just have to get used to it, just as we did with the Wii.

If they went by that logic then they would have made the Ultra NES instead of the Nintendo 64..

I will get the system no matter the name, but it would be nice if it was different. I only suspect some small to no info on the Wii U tho.

To be honest I'm quite flabbergasted at the lack of any real info about wiiu not materialising. 6 weeks to go till E3 & nothing but smoke & mirrors. Hopefully some good info tomoz.

I've been hearing the same things over here in my neck of the woods.
It is a bit of a bummer to hear all of the bashing and ignorance that goes on.
We're just going to have to trust that they know what they're doing over there. After all, they have been successful for some time now.
If they don't change the name, I'm sure there will be clever marketing to stabilize it.
