Coming from a NeoGaf user:

“So far we know for sure that can be simultaneously connected 4 Wii Remote Plus, or at least 2 WiiU controllers (but not learned if they can be linked together, ie 4 Wii Remote Plus and 2 WiiU controllers at the same time).”

“We played wireless, so yes, it had battery inside.”

YES! This is great news for the system. Everyone be sure to pick this one up! If this sells then quite a few other hardcore games will probably come to the system!

I changed the story because someone at GoNintendo said it was just a fake. Here it is, the comments say it is old http://gonintendo.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=55197&p=626514

For future reference, this is hardware related, and there's a search bar at the top.

That would be amazing! Whenever we go over to see family we bring our Wii. It would be awesome to have more than four players, one person usually has to sit out in my case.

Seriously, without (AT LEAST) two tablet controllers at once, Nintendo is going to drive A LOT of people away from the Wii U.

It seems like Nintendo is trying to reel in the casual gamers once again, (along with the hardcore gamers) without more than one controller support, that is NOT going to happen.

I just can not state this enough, Nintendo NEEDS multi tablet controller support. We better hear about this at E3.

I'm sure the Wii U will support multiple tablets. Nintendo would be crazy not to.

IKR.

GTA5 isn't coming to Wii U.
They started development way too early.
Bad timing is all, but rockstar might port it along with the PC version a year later.
