Namco Bandai has just joined Masahiro Sakurai's Super Smash Bros. 4. This means that Nintendo is having a good relationship with Namco Bandai. But indeed Namco Bandai have excellent relationships with Capcom and Sega (Project X Zone). This fact opens the door for much more third party characters in Super Smash Bros 4. Adding more third party characters is now even more important because Sony's new game: Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale features third party characters too. Nintendo have to take that in consideration. This is my WISHlist for the new Super Smash Bros:

I'd kill to beat people up as Hatsune Miku, or any Vocaloid for that matter. Though, I'm kinda half-and-half about the Soul Calibur and Tekken Characters.

The only thing that I'm hoping they not do is have multiple variations of the same characters. Seriously, I've seen people suggest things like Yarn Kirby and Paper Mario. :c

What? Paper Mario would be a great character. His moves would be completely different and based around paper attacks and his hammer. Their almost completely different characters other than the name.

Yeah, we need Shulk with the power of the Monado. And with the characters I want from Namco Bandai, I only know Pac-man

That picture is exactly how I imagined him looking in super smash bros. It would be cool to pretend to eat yellow dots with him by eating yellow kirby.

I say they just put a nice base amout of characters in first like 45, and then you put more characters like some 3rd party ones some people don't want in as extra DLC, that way they can make this game last throughout the wii u's whole lifetime and adding more characters and stages when new games come out.

Actually guys Sakurai said that the both the Wii U and 3DS versions of SSB MOST LIKELY won't have any new characters because he wants to keep it balanced.

No he said he wouldnt increase the amount of characters by very much, that doesn't mean that some characters won't be replaced and I don't see there being no new character.
