That's a shame, but it doesn't sound like it'll be a huge delay and I guess it makes sense to focus on releasing it in time for Thanksgiving in the US, so I can live with it.

Same happened with the Wii, didn't it? November for US, December for EU.

The wait will be hard, but at least it's just one month.

Everyone knows November was the target launch window its only a matter of time until Nintendo says it themselves. So a month pushback in December isn't a horrible thing..I mean yes for all those day one adopters it sucks...and I'm sorry for you guys...but as long as it still hits before christmas...things will be fine.

Europe finally got the short stick. That normally was the case until recently, starting with the DSi Launch, soon enough Nintendo hardware hit EU first before NA. Also that key titles that were often NA first release had an EU release before NA, such as kingdom hearts, and pokemon black and white.

Damn it,there goes my plan to get it early and start live streaming, considering it'll be a month after NA has it. God damit.

Why not delay it in Japan where they don't really celebrate Christmas anyway to the same degree. I would of thought it was more important to launch in Europe than Japan. Europe is a bigger market than the USA. If it ends up that reasonable stock levels don't arrive until January when most people are too poor to buy I reckon Europe will be the first region to get a wii u price drop.

Does anyone remember the N64 launch in europe. An utter disaster and the price was dropped from the launch price of £250 to £150 in about a month and then a few months later to £99. Not sure £99 was an official price cut but they made a complete mess of the european launch.
