I think we all remember how hard it was to get our hands on a wii when that first came out and I can remember going on ebay and seeing ps3s go for BIG bucks when they first arrived so I was wondering if anyone is planning on buying more than just one Wii U and then selling it on craigslist or ebay? I have been really considering it.

I am not saying this beast will sell like the wii did but, I have talked to people at game stop, walmart, target and best buy and they ALL say that Nintendo sends them a VERY limited amount of systems at launch and for the coming months. It might be tough to find one come xmas.

^^ this. Nintendo creates demand by smartly stocking stores. Even if the Wii U sells an astronomical amount day one...if they shipped a ton people will be like Oh...only 55% sold...not good. But if they ship just enough and Have a 90-100% sell through...then everyone's talking.

If I can't get my hands on the Wii U, I would just wait until stock comes in. I got better things to worry about haha.

It amazes me how negative people are being on the Wii U launch.

No, to me I think it's mean to the people that actually come and line up at the store. Unless your like me and your grunted a Wii U because you Pre order it.

There's always the chance of walking away empty handed at a new console launch. Mean or not it happens. When I got in line at target for the Wii launch it was 10pm the night before and by the time the morning came we had 60 people - I was 14th and there were close to double that turned away when we told them only 60 were in stock. I would never pick up more than one if it meant someone misses out. However...I have been offered $100 for my spot in line for both the Wii and 360. My girlfriend is coming to get one with me, but if she is offered $100 she will probably just play mine lol.

I know people will not get consoles, I just think buying more than one and taking them away from people at a store for people online is just a little unfair. Took me about half a year to find a Wii after it launched.

I 100% agree with you. If there was a chance I could screw some kids Christmas or birthday to make some extra money, then I wouldn't do that.
