"Yes, the game will probably still be right for all of us (casuals, family, friends, gamers alike), but could it also be the perfect fit just...for *U* (the hardcore; dedicated gamers)" - Reggie Fils-Aime Wii U Reveal at E3 2012. This is the quote that inspired me to make a new Wii U logo.


The Wii U logo still reminds me of the original Wii, which percieved as casual looking due to the *Wii* branding, so I made a hardcore one inspired by Lecrae's new album, Gravity, putting more emphasis on the *U*, the hardcore, and less on the casual *Wii* perception.


I saw the Gravity logo on the album and It's very similar to Wii U's *U*, so I got inspired to use it as the new Wii U logo. What do you think of the new logo?

haha sorry to disappoint you. was thinking about including all the current hardcore games for the wii u while the logo was playing, but I'm waiting for next weeks press event (September 13) for all the official game annoucnemtns. i'll make a hype video with this for sure

it's an intro song for Lecrae's new album, Gravity. You should check his other songs. I'll asure you the others won't be corny as flakes lol I like that term.

haha thanks man. glad tou like the logo. well, the logo is from Lecrae's new album, Gravity. I rearanged the logo to make it look like a U. I have no idea what it says on the U.

the original logo is much better . no offence. but yah idk what the heck makes the orginal logo "casual" its a great logo! lol . rap isnt hardcore either. ( well most of the time its garbage)
