I'll probably add more but these are all I have made so far, just using paint and Microsoft word (no photoshop )

You must be the first person I've seen who uses Microsoft Word as a graphic design program. There are lots of "hardcore" Paint users, but Word? :shock:

Your sigs really don't look half-bad. You could achieve some much nicer-looking effects with Photoshop or the GIMP (basically, a free ripoff of Photoshop), but you've really made great use of what you have. I especially love the Ninja Kirby one.

One suggestion I have is to switch to the PNG format. Notice all the little fuzzy parts and odd white spots? Those all come from the JPEG compression. Go PNG and you'll never see those so-called artifacts again. I really never understood why people loved JPEG's so much. >.>

I like to have the element of surprise :lol:, do you have a link for that GIMP program? PNG format, I will try that next time and post it in this thread to see what everyone thinks.

Happy to see that you took PNG for bartman2's sig. There's no denying that it looks better than JPEG, no?

Here's a link to GIMP. I don't use it myself personally 'cause I've got Photoshop (a legally purchased copy, at that), but you'll still be amazed at just how close it gets. It might (and probably will) overwhelm you a bit at first; but trust me, it's well worth the learning curve. Photoshop isn't all that different in its UI, so you won't have a hard time "graduating" to it if you ever decide to.

That might not look like much, because it's just pictures with words on top, but you'd be surprised how long it took me to find out how to add borders to those words >.<

Ah, your sigs look good, really clear pictures.

Thanks for the link Feld0, this program is really confusing :? , I'm just going to play around with it for a bit to try and get used to everything. I might get photoshop, depends on the price I'm already saving up for various things, 3DS, Uni, laptop and so on. I only really used JPEG because I thought it was widely used and more likely to be compatible.
