I want you guys to tell me what your absolute favorite gen and favorite pokemon are no more than 5 pokemon. Tell me your guy's gen in order.
For example i would be:
Gen 4
Gen 2
Gen 5
Gen 1
Gen 3

Note: I do not want a whole bunch of genwunners going around here telling that it is better. While here, treat all gens as if they were your favorite, except when voting.

I have so much nostalgia for the first gen of Pokemon that I can't choose anything but that. I also really love gen 2.

I think......I'll have to say......carpoles v.v........okay not 4....the plasma outfits annoyed me and it was a run-around......3.....nnnnnn..........no.....
So then 3 left.....1, 2 and 5........*plays elevator music to ease tension*.......
Uhm.....I have special memories with the first 2.....but I think I had more fun with 5 (game wise)


So 5 it is! Favourite pokemon.....another doozy but I must go with Typhlosion! Awesome memories with those :'D

Hard pick between gen 1 and 3. 3 had more nostalgia, and more memories. I'll go with 3. Plus my avatar of Absol is from gen 3,

My favourite Pokémon generation is Generation IV and my favourite Pokémon are Dragonite, Ampharos, Milotic, Empoleon and Darmanitan.

My favorite is gen 3, followed by a tie between 1 and 5, then gen 2, and my least favorite is definitely 4. My favorite pokémon is Kyogre (Even if he makes a miserable roommate) Also, why do people always seem to like Charizard so much? I never understood that... What was everyone's first Pokémon? Mine was a Torchic who I have as a Blaziken on White version currently.

My first Pokémon was Squirtle in Red version. I think people like Charizard so much because Charmander was their first Pokémon or from seeing Ash's Charizard in the anime. Many competitive Pokémon fans think Charizard has become weaker from the introduction of the move Stealth Rock and other powerful Rock type moves and that is also why all of the newly introduced final stage Fire type starter Pokémon since Generation III have been Fire/Fighting Pokémon.

I don't want to rain on anyone's parade... but... I seriously can't be the only one who holds a huge dislike for Gen 3... Though it introduced a lot of the complex elements in pokemon... it was so... ehhhhhh..

Generation 1 is definitely my favorite gen. Best pokemon ever is JIGGLYPUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
