Hey guys. Been a while since I made a topic, so here goes...

I would like a Yoshi's Island game for the Wii U! There hasnt been once since Yoshi's Island DS in 2006. Think of it, the Wii U controller can be a 1st person view where Yoshi's Egg throwing is controlled, and everything else is the rest of the game as a 2D sidescroller.

Who thinks this si a good idea?

I don't think that would work too well. either there would need to be some super paper mario dimension flipping stuff or you could only aim up or down.
I think if there was a yoshi's island sequel, unless there will be MAJOR changes, would best be on a 3ds.

Agreed. Yoshi's Island would be best on a handheld console. I can imagine something Paper Mario style or Yoshi's Story style. I wouldn't mind if it was like Yoshi's Story. I think it would look lovely on the 3DS! I really like the pop-up book style. It's really nice and it would work incredibly well with 3D!

I respect your ideas but sorry don't see it happening I see it as a big blunder no offense, how about Yoshi Story you think that would work better because New Super Mario Bros Mii works great, I think Yoshi's Island needs to stay handheld

That sounds like a cool Idea. But I kind of agree with Starrgrl24 here. The 3D would go great with style of graphics Yoshi Island uses. This could actually be a game that could make good use of the 3DS's 3D.

Lately we've been seeing overdue sequels of games from before the Wii.

What about a Yoshi game? There's a possibility since the last Yoshi game was a remake of yoshi's island, so I think it's time for a new Yoshi game.

The two Yoshi games for DS were Yoshi's Island DS and Yoshi Touch and Go.

Meh. Yoshi's Island 3 and we'll talk... Maybe. I'd rather see that on the 3DS, though. Using 2D sprites, just like the SNES game... But that's just me.

Yoshi's Story 2? Maybe... but probably not for the U. Maybe for 3DS.

Yoshi's Story was excellent. I want a sequel, or a 3D remake.
The most I could see, though, is an egg-throwing mini game on Nintendoland.
