Here are some of the Boost Rush levels in the New Super Mario Bros U at the 9-13 press conference.
(These levels might be in the final version, it wasnt confirmed so dont get your hopes up)

Yeah, saw those yesterday. This could be an excellent feature, really add some replay value to the game. I'm never gonna use the gamepad to place blocks, though, that would make it SOOOOO easy......

I like this a lot, it seems like it would be incredibly fun. And a friendship killer if your friend doesn't place a block in the right spot at the right time.
