An opinion piece on the Wii U after going hands on at a Nintendo event.

Anyone feel the same or differently?

Personally I sort of agree, but regardless, LOVE the Wii U.

Im glad its not too heavy that was a concern for me. I am also glad it feels more comfortable than the xbox controllers. I don't like that they are dragging along the wii-motes for the console though. I understand it for backwards compatability but I think the Game-pad and pro-controller should be what we are using here. I think most 3rd party titles will only use the Game-pad because it would be hell to do all of those control schemes. The Game-pad's control and the wii-motes control scheme's are completely different, so i am excited to see where this goes.

I'm dying to get my hands on the controller. Everything I've heard has been positive... even though developers can make use of the Wiimote..I think we will mostly see it used with casual shovelware
