Sorry if this has been asked prior. Does anyone know if the Wii U will have traditional controller ports for the pro controller?

It's wireless like all the ps3 and 360 controllers

Yeah wired controllers will probably be only for 3rd party controllers, and plug in through the USB. That is how Sony, and Microsoft handle it anyways.

Be wary, the suck is coming.

Thanks folks...I did also just read that it has a rechargeable battery that lasts 80 hours on a single charge. That is pretty awesome news.

Yeah, it charges by the USB ports too, so you can have it plugged in charging while you're playing.

Wow 80 hours of play. That is great. Wish the Gamepad had battery life like that, only 5 hours, 10 would have been nice. But whatever, it's a home console anyway. And I doubt that there will be many days where I play it for five hours straight without some kind of a break.

80 hours!!! I might pick one up now but I honestly love the Gamepad's design....so I might just wait and pick it up with Black Ops 2 or some other better FPS if another gets announced for early next year

how is a dual analog controller not good? If a wii controller is really that important to you then don't buy Darksiders.

Yeah I see what you mean I do enjoy how precise the wiimote nunchuck combo is but I'm just really horrible at using it for any first person games I still prefer dual analog to be honest

I think he may have just been trolling... or a 13 year old Nintendo fanboy, one of the 2

Why does the gamepad not have that lifespan? Holy smokes...
Anyone know how long the gamepad cable is?

I'm starting to think there should be a general Pro Controller thread for all your Pro Controller questions...
