Toys R Us is making their own Wii U bundle, keep this in mind.. this is the only Wii U console you could preorder.
-Wii U basic set
-Batman Arkham City Armored Edition
-Scribblenauts Unlimited
All of that for a whopping... wait for it.
FOUR HUNDRED AND TWENTY DOLLARS!!!!
Now this is what I hate about this, why cant you just sell the basic set and let us pick the games.

Yeah at least Walmart lets you pick it. :P

But Walmart has a forced bundle as well. You can choose Basic or Deluxe. Then choose what game you want. Then choose what color Wiimote Plus. If you choose Basic it is $400 but if you choose Deluxe it is $450.

I shower you with coconut cream pies.

Yeah that was my point. Walmart lets you pick the games and doesn't force Batman and Scribblenauts on you. I understand why they're doing the bundle. They want you to buy from their store and not another place. Honestly I don't care in Walmart's case cause it's all your choice and who's not buying 1-2 games anyways?

yh the issue isn't the price cos u get what u pay for. two games with the system :) but they should let you pick, i wonder how they chose those two? maybe this reflects the number of pre orders those two have gotten? maybe they've had the most, or maybe the least. maybe its totally random :P

They force bundles to push games with low pre-orders off the shelves with just a $10 discount.

I don't see the problem with selling a $300 MSRP System with two(2) $60 MSRP games for $420, but that's just me...

I think it's more then just a coincidence that both games in the bundle are being published by Warner Interactive. There probably is some kind deal between them and Toys R Us. As for those who say this is a forced bundle its nothing of the kind. No one is forcing you to buy from them. I also doubt it has anything to do with low pre-orders of those two games. Game console bundles are quite common and this isn't the first time they've been offered.

In Australia, one does not go to Toys 'R' Us for video games.

Every other toy, yeah, but not video games. EB would be cheaper.

Trophy Cards are classy too! LOLZIGZAGOON

I think Toys R Us know there will be limited stock so why discount? You may as well charge RRP near enough. Maybe closer to launch when every other retailer is out of stock people will be buying their wii u's at Toys R Us at these inflated prices. Its clever and very profitable if Toys R Us gets this right.
