They're 3rd party, eesh. But at the same time these controllers look amazing. I hope they will get some good reviews.

Wait, so if it's wii and Wii U compatible, does that mean it has both infrared for the sensor bar, and Bluetooth for the Wii U?


Why would it have infrared capability to work with the sensor bar. That doesn't make sense. With the Wii the Wii remotes have it as they are used for pointer functionality. This controller if its Wii compatible and I have my reservations about that it would just be Bluetooth and would function the same way as the Wii specific pro controller does when connected to a Wii remote and uses the remote's Bluetooth to communicate with the Wii.

Then why does it have a Black Plastic area at the top, which the official controller doesn't, which is usually used for infrared, line of sight communication.

It's probably just an aesthetic thing.
