So i have recently gone down to my local gamestop and i was going to preorder the deluxe, but was put as 9 or 10 on the waiting list for the next shipping of consoles. I did get a choice of the deluxe ( which i am glad of) so im guessing there will be plenty of those. I just really want to know if anyone here has heard anything about the second shipping coming in for gamestop. I know tomorrow (October 14th) Walmart is taking preorders , so I'm guessing Gamestop will announce something soon.
I'm just really excited for this console, i cant wait.

So, really they haven't started their second batch of accepting pre-orders, you're just on a waiting list.....?

Make guess is second shipment will be delivery a wk or 2 after launch.
Fingerhut.com sold out but says they will have more in stock on dec 4th. But thats fingerhut and they are a lil slow.

I don't know if just because Walmart starts pre orders tomorrow, GameStop will too, if they do though, I better call my cousin. When I told her that nearly all the places were sold out she cried, :'(

Hopfully your right, but idk. I was told that its a waiting list. No money down and that once it came out they could hold it for you for about a day. But thats just what i heard from the manager.
Things could be different since they dont know when there shipments will be end.

Here is what to do... it is very simple quite frankly

first sneak into gamestop after hours and steal their list of preorder recipients

then locate where each one of said recipients live

then starting in reverse chronological order (9 being the guy directly in front of you, 0 being the last person to get a preorder) track them down and dispose of them by any means necessary

bribery,trickery, blackmailing, assassination... doesnt matter you must do whatever it takes


then voila you have a Wii U

I almost didn't get my deluxe due to these crazy pre-orders. Make sure you get one!
