For me, its the online. I just hope its on par with what microsoft and sony do. I want it better, but on par would be fine. I am so sick of hearing about how Nintendo could never compete with them online. Its time to kick assssssssssss

No news on the Nintendo Network or the online.

Nothing. This is Nintendo. Why should we worry about something they make?

You answered your own question. Nintendo as much as I love them has a way of doing things that make no sense. They "sometimes" try too hard to innovate or do the opposite of what the competition is doing that they lose fans and developers in the process. My only concern right now is that I'm not going to have enought time to play the Wii U as much as I want to.

Friend codes. Nintendo took back the claim that they wouldn't be included.

I'm pretty content. People are worried about online since we haven't had an information blow out on it. Chill..it will be there...and it will work well. Back before the internet I had to rely on magazines for this type of info...they didn't always have all the info.. and people didn't care. We were excited and ready for a great gaming experience. We had faith.

Longevity. I want this console to be my main for the entire generation, not just the next 2 years. Things look on track so far, so that is good.

Be wary, the suck is coming.

I think itll prolly be the same lifespan of the Wii, roughly 6 years, just because the 360 and PS3 have about 5-6 years left in the tank and i dont see the Wii U being able to compete with the competitors, however this is merely my opinion

Online. They better have that whole damn Friend Code thing out of the system, and at least have gamertags.
They also need party chat.

The online yes, I am worried about external hard drive. If I can split a 3TB HDD among my pc laptop and wii u and other entertainment agendas that would be awesome. I kinda have a feeling the wii u will make the HDD dedicated though, i'd hate having to worry about multiple external drives for different stuff between my computer stuff and having another one for just one console

I aldo agree with this. I really hope this system can compete with ps3 and 720 (or whatever its called) for a long time.
