As long as they follow the Thrawn trilogy, I will be happy. I don't see any way they can make it a live action film with original actors, so it will be interesting to see what they come up with.

Free Willow!!!

pretty easily. They can follow a later story arc around the twins and Ben.

I really REALLY hope they don't make this all Disney-y, Star Wars is already aimed at children these days but I am loving the ideas mentioned of it being based on some of the books. I haven't read the Thrawn trilogy but I have read others that I would love to see as a movie, even the Jedi Academy trilogy would do nicely.

This statement is false. The previous statement is true.

RIP in peace Nintendo.

I don't really care, never been a fan of LucasFilm.

Some fans have outraged over the buyout but this change might be for the best. I will have to watch the new movie to see for myself.

"disney-ey" what does that mean? You do realise Disney is a company and doesnt make all their films about fairytales aimed entirely at young kids? SW always has been for kids anyway. But look what they did with Marvel? Even if SW 7 was aimed mostly at kids, Disney films usually appeal to adults and children anyway.

Star Wars has not always been for children, the prequels, and I suppose episode VI to some extent, were what changed the series' direction. By 'disney-y' I guess I meant aimed at younger audiences, I'd prefer a darker more serious toned film. The only Disney films I recall enjoying were the cartoon classics from when I was a child.
