No need to be disappointed in something that wasn't made specifically for you. The hardcore players already know what the Wii U is all about, why do they need to show them stuff they already know? This commercial is for those people who don't live on the Internet and watch reviews or read websites every day.


Exactly, hardcore gamers already know this stuff. Nintendo's big problem here is trying to get the casuals to buy the Wii U, and make sure they know that it's not an add on to the regular Wii. Though the commercial should have stated somehow that it's not an add on to the Wii, or just a new Wii with a fancy controller.

I actually think it was good.

I also suggest taking a break from the internet so that you DON'T know about things so that you can actually be surprised by commercials of various media.

It's casual, like madden, and fifa.

thats more in between core and casual, than just simply casual.

I thought it was an alright commercial. I was looking forward to seeing ZombieU since it's a Wii U exclusive but sadly they only showed "casual" games. Maybe there will be another commercial showcasing some "hardcore" games... I hope so :mellow:
