Look at it! Its so awesome that I COULD CRY!
Notice that you can zoom in and out, and that button at the first video... I think that lets you switch between TV and the gamepad.
Look at the second video, @1:16 Its the home menu! Its like the 3ds... oh and that button, I think it switches between the Miis menu thing and the home menu.
You can enter a game,go to a Mii Maker(I guess) app,theres settings,Wii U Chat,and maybe thats the backward compatibility app?(Behind the Wii U Chat at the right)

Also,Maybe thats an Activity Log, and behind it.. Idk, but that yellow triangle means... SYSTEM WARNING AND BLAH BLAH! xD

Under it we can find Miiverse(from left to right),eShop,Internet Browser,Nintendo TVii, and notifications?
I think those apps can be used while playing a game without stopping it,while the others can't be used while playing a game.

What do you guys think of the main menu?

Not 100% convinced. Do I really care that much about what other people have to say about certain games? There are more important things to a console. 360's main menu for example is really good. I'm also curious, what if I and my friend are playing Black Ops 2 and want to voicechat while in the same game. Should we create a party like on XBL or something? Because obviously we won't videochat while gaming

You can videochat only on the upad without the tv, so maybe it'll be able to run in the background. We know you can be called while playing. I wonder if you can accept the call and keep playing.

I think the UI Background music is awesome and really well done, I also think the UI itself looks really nice and eligant and simple, seriosly anymore awesomeness might make my head implode, Microsoft watch out Nintendo's back

Can't say it's bad, but the WaraWara Plaza looks kinda complicated. How do I get to my game and stuff? I'm pretty sure that was on the Gamepad, so what's the Warawara Plaza for? A more interactive forum-esque thing? I like the Wii's Home Menu so much more than this.

The WaraWara plaza is just one half of the main menu, y'know! Its only for chatting with your friends, look at 1:16 in the second video to see the "actual" menu. It's very much like the Wii, and you can choose whether you want to view the Menu or the WaraWara plaza on GamePad (other thing is on the TV).

The game and options are all done from the gamepad, or you can switch it to the TV.

WaraWara plaza is a social gathering of mii's, you can see other mii characters and what they are playing.

One thing I do wonder about is what will happen when you have more than 10 games on the plaza. Will the 10 most recent games you played be displayed? Or will all other games be on a different page, or not appear at all? As for the normal menu on the Gamepad, looks good. Pretty much a smaller Wii Menu.

Honestly the Wii U is easily the best online gaming platoform right now, its so open. Im so happy with nintendo right now.

You know what. It just came to me from looking at these videos like that.
It looks like a 3ds lol.
Tv is the top screen and the wii u pad is the bottom screen. It would be cool if we could get some 3ds ports in hd lol.
