I feel like I can probably clarify here. If you'll take notice, the number of posts listed below your avatar doesn't increase when you post in the Introduction Central and Roleplay and Forum Games sections of the Forums. So if you want to enter the chat room, you have to make 5 posts in sections other than these two.
Also, this is more appropriate for site news and feedback, so I'm moving it.

5 posts=5 posts not in the introduction forum of the RP forum. You should really consider why you want to get in the chat if you just rush to get 5 posts without adding to any conversation.

You "real" post count only increases when you post in the "gaming forums" excluding introduction central. the "non gaming forums" don't do anything for you "real" post count either. So just make sure you are posting in "Wii U Hardware" "Wii U Software" and "General Gaming"
