I'm curious, will the Wii U games cost as much as the original wii's games or will they cost more?

For standard games they are going to run about $60.

more... here in EU new ps3 and xbox AAA games cost 70€.. wii games around 50-60€ but now some wii U games are at 70€... its a horsing shame :(

Games will run standard to current gen of $59.99 - however those are the bigger launches. For example some of the other casual games are cheaper. Sonic Allstar Racing Transformed is $39.99 and that really excites me since I'm getting it!

Something which I noticed was that original Wii games tended to stay 50 bucks for a long time, while 360/PS3 games tended to drop to 20 bucks fast. Hopefully for our side of the bargain, Wii U games follow the 360/PS3 pricing trend.

just dance is wii-priced, mario is hd-priced.
I think that's the way they're pricing the games, at least for launch here.
casual cheap, HARDCORE GAMER HARDCORE CORE games a bit more.

In the UK it's £45 to £50. About a £5 to £10 jump on last gen.

wow I'm surprised the price went up, I've always loved how alot of nintendo games aren't as expensive as ps3 or xbox 360, but it appears that is going to change
