Question About Virtual Console Game Transfer

Okay, so I was wondering... When you transfer the data from the Wii to the Wii U, would you have to have all the games downloaded to your console and then transfer them over, or can you transfer your account and then download the games you've bought before but have deleted to make space for other games?

You might be able to in "Wii mode" because that's where I think you play your VC games, but I'm not 100% sure so don't take my word for it.

From what I heard you transfer your Wii VC games to the Wii U via SD then you must register them through the eshop on your Wii U.

Your Wii Shop account is transferred too, so you don't have to have them all, your account will be in Wii Mode.

ERm I dunno, I'm sure Ninty have full instructions on thier website on how to do it now.
