Forgive me if this is a completely stupid and ignorant overlooking on my part, but, I was just wondering: will we be able to load complete games onto the Wii U's internal hard drive, and be able to play said games without inserting the disc for it?

I realize this is mostly only applicable to the deluxe version...

But anyways; please, if you would be so kind, could you answer my silly little question? :)

Only if you buy the discless retail download copy. And expect it to hold 3-4 games.

Another question: can you copy your games from the disc to the hard drive and play it from there (still having the disc in the console, of course)?

No you can't for obvious reasons. Piracy, if this was the case we could rent tons of games and just copy them all.

Alright. Thanks for the replies... I thought for sure I heard something saying that you could... Whatever. :P Have another question: how much space will each game require, do ya think? If you don't install the entire game on there, what takes up so much space???

Save data space I guess.
Here's some data management screens from GT Live's showing a few days ago.

Blue = KB Green = MB

I don't see a reason for games not to be able to install to the hard drive, or install DLC to the hard drive.

Let's just say if you are getting the Basic Bundle, and you wanna download digital games, you will need an external drive. I think they said after the update and junk you will have about half your 8GB space used up, so you will be barely able to fit Nintendo Land whatever space is left.

So basically, once you get the update, you'll only be able to play one game unless you delete all of it's data??? That somehow doesn't sound right...

It's right, except the update most people are referring to is the OS, which means you can't delete it.

You won't be able to download the digital copy of the game. However, you can still save game data like saves and settings, etc.

Honestly getting an external drive is the way to go...I'd keep an eye our for black friday/cyber thursday/monday sales - hard drives are usually dirt cheap then.
