I definitely agree.....the excitement of getting a new console. I grew up overseas, my parents were US Diplomats..and the first look at the nintendo was actually what was known as the famicom way back in 85...we were back in the USA for vacation(summer) in 1986 and I wanted one...all we could find was this new thing called the NES....it looked cool and my mom promised me one if I was good...and not complain while she shopped. Turns out that the famicom were made by same company. kind of cool, but I was so excited...the next system I got for present was the SNES...every other console I bought as well. I remembered I worked my butt off at SeaWorld(and going to college) too save enough money to reserve the N64. Great times..I am 35 and still love nintendo....lol

If your dad is smart he'd wrap something small in a wii u sized box & put the wii u box in a bigger box. That's what I'd do anyway..
