Noticed after pressing the home button after a MSF sesh, said that something failed to download? Wait, I wasn't downloading anything? So I investigate it further and it seems it was an automatic system update that failed to work. I'm not worried at all, just huh lol. Anyone else get the same? Guess Nintendo sent out a faulty update or they retracted it quick to tweak or add to it?

I think they accidentally released an unfinished update, this happened to me too and it's slightly annoying because it keeps saying some data failed to download.

I believe the youtube app is now live, maybe it was trying to download that?

Maybe it was the update that was supposed to fix all the crashes/freezings etc.

This happened to me too last Friday, I saw that there was a failed system update. I thought it was just my internet ( very slow at the time), that did it. Then it said there was no system update at all..... strange.

Hum idk. I havent had that problem. But i do know they said the amazon , youtube and another app was live so maybe its from them or it could be a patch for the bugs.

Maybe the Wii U does some auto updates if it's something small to fix? Since it's a new consoles I'm sure they have a lot of things to update and it would be annoying if everyday I had to go and update it by myself. Something like. I haven't had anything like that anyway.

Yeah it kept saying some data failed to download then went away after about 15 minutes like it was never there.

Yes, I noticed that too but I never really questionned myself too much about it since I don't have any problems with my WiiU.
