No, it's just so pointless for a compilation of mini-games to have a Strategy Guide.

I am still interested in the mini-games, though. I just want to find out if it will teach me anything I don't already know.

No, it's just so pointless for a compilation of mini-games to have a Strategy Guide.
I wouldn't say that, some of the mini-games are pretty tough and maps etc. would help some people out. DK's crash course and Captain Falcons Twister Race come to mind

As for 'strategy' - dont think that will ever be synonymous wit NL - I'm sure you'll get more and better tips on this forum and save yourself $20.
