My older brother bought himself the Flame Red 3DS that comes bundled with Super Mario 3DS Land. When he took out the 3DS I noticed something, It was different from my previous Flame Red 3DS. I don't know if many of you know about this, so I took some pictures of it and wanted to show you guys what has changed. Maybe some of you that don't have a 3DS will like this version a little more.

As you can tell the Top of the 3DS isn't clear red anymore, and for those of you that didn't like the three shades of red the previous model had you are in luck because this one is just one shade of red. If you look at the picture below you will see that the part that used to be metallic where the cartridge slot and charging port is at is now red as well. The 3D slider got a small change as well. It doesn't look metallic anymore it looks like plastic just like the XL version.

Huh, that's strange. While I'd probably prefer the solid red over the orangey trilayer, I really prefer the clear coating and sparkly buttons the old 3DSs have.

I forgot to mention this bundle doesn't come with the charging cradle.

By the way, colour is not spelled wrong. That's just the canadian way to spell it, for those of you who don't know, I'm canadian.

I don't like it. Has less personality than the original one. It's like they took all the cool little quirks out and slapped a even coloring all over. It's just boring now.
