Will they be re-releasing the Virtual Console games like NES & SNES games on the Wii U (eShop) at some point? Really hoping they do.

They should be. From what I have heard they will. NIntendo knows that is one of the things that people want, so I dont think that they will be skipping out on that

Because retro games are one of the biggest rip offs I can think of in gaming right now, at least in Australia, no common NES game should be upwards for 30 dollars, especially half of the crap you see on eBay, why not download the superior version in HD for cheaper?Meaning?

I would love to play Gamecube games on the vitual console! I hope the have Wind Waker, Melee, Double Dash, F-zero, Sunshine, and Mario Superstar Baseball.

I never played Pikmin when I had a Gamecube, which I regret now, as I'd rather play the first 2 before I play Pikmin 3, so I hope they become available on VC.

I never played Pikmin when I had a Gamecube, which I regret now, as I'd rather play the first 2 before I play Pikmin 3, so I hope they become available on VC.
You should just buy the Wii versions. Theyre pretty cheap.

i just bought super mario world off the wii shop on my wii u, gotta admit its a pain having to switch to wii mode to play it, the games are still awesome today and it would be nice if they were all on the U shop upscaled somehow all nice and HDish, and i could def go for some gamecube games too, didn't get many when i had my cube back in the day, so would be nice to pick up those i missed.
I hear voices in my head all the time, telling me what to do. But I just ignore them and carry on killing.

They should have an update merging Wii virtual console games to the Wii u's.

I sure hope so. I love the old school games, but would much rather they have gamepad support than having to go through Wii mode.
