My Wii U keeps loading, I was playing Ninja Gaiden 3 RE, when the loading screen wouldn't let me go to the level, so I got impatient and stupid and pressed the home button on the gamepad, and went to the menu, but I'm stuck on the loading screen that's supposed to bring me to the Wii U home menu.
I want to do a hard reset, but I'm so terrified I'll brick my console, anyone have any suggestions?
It's still stuck on the loading screen and I'm terrified I broke it.
Now I have a problem

Darksiders 2 locked up on me the other day, and I had to turn it off right at the wall. I didn't end up having any problems, so I'd say to go for it.

Haven't heard of anyone bricking when not in an update state. Have you gotten the latest update 2.0.1?

Yes, and last I checked I'm not updating anything, but the loading screen won't go to the home menu.
