Nintendo may release a larger battery pack for the Gamepad.

I honestly don't have any hard proof except for this:
This guy takes the backing off of the Gamepad and shows just how much room there is.

There is obviously plenty of space for a larger battery pack. I'm actually quite surprised that nyko hasn't released one yet, internal I mean. I'm sure once Nintendo gets all the complaints of short battery life they will release a larger battery pack.

Nyko is releasing one but it is a stupid add on pack that connects to the outside of the Wii U

The charge lead is pretty long anyway..I just plug it in if I'm still playing and battery low

I knew about that one and it seems cumbersome. I talking about an internal pack.

No doubt there will be a bigger battery later on. but how much would it bump it up is tge question?

I will get a longer lasting battery when one is released but until then I'm fine :D

Same for me when they release one I will probably get it but for now its not really a problem.

I haven't had any issues with mine, I dont need to sit there and game for more than 4 hours anyway. Those days are long gone but if it was to happen say if switching users then I'd just charge it and use the Pro controller. I just hope they release a Pro controller with a headphone jack.

I doubt I'll ever play long enough to drain the battery, but options are good!
