Operation stop Operation:
Stop calling it OPERATION it's wearing out and people will stop looking at these as a big deal.
"Oh we got a new operation, can't wait for tommorow"
I just think we should focus on 1 at a time.

I agree to a point
For something that actually is an operation, it's okay to be called that. Actions to cause or prevent something fit under this

Games that refuse to use Gameplay effectively to do anything are like films that refuse to use cinematography in film to do anything.

I agree, I just think Operation Moogle is good for now. But I think it's kind of useless to just complain about how people are making 'Operations.' You could of just argued about this on those threads, instead of making an entirely new thread, that's just my opinion though. Posted Image

OPERATION

noun /ˌäpəˈrāSHən/
operations, plural

A piece of organized and concerted activity involving a number of people, esp. members of the armed forces or the police
- a rescue operation
- military operations

Preceding a code name for such an activity
- Operation Desert Storm

(Irrelevant points excluded)

If it fits the above definition, then it can be called an operation.
Operation Rainfall most certainly does fit the definition; They have some thousand supporters, they are very heavily organized and they are concerted as heck; Bringing many Niche games much higher up on the charts, and spending a LOT of money on said games.

I don't know much about the other Operations enough to judge them, but if they only consist of petitions, or anything else that doesn't require dedication... Then I doubt they should be called an Operation.
