I'm not gonna lie i actually enjoyed this movie a lot. It also had way more action than i thought it would. :o

I can't wait for the next one. It actually made me mad when i got to the end and then... BAM cliffhanger.

Though i've never read the books, i've always thoroughly enjoyed the films.

I've seen a comic strip about the Hobbit by dorkly and it is also related to my favourite video game series, Pokémon. It can be seen in the following spoiler. Do many users here understand the joke?

A common "plot hole" that comes up concerning The Lord of the Rings movies is why the Fellowship never bothered flying to Mount Doom to destroy the One Ring. Dorkly attempts to explain Gandalf's reasoning for not summoning their assistance with the Pokewalker.

I saw the movie the day it came out, 3D and all. Such a great movie - probably my favourite of the (recently finished) year.

I thought it dragged on a lot. Jackson easily could have cut a half hour from it and it would've been fine - better, even.

The movie was very very good.
I thought it did take a bit too long to get into the actual story of the Hobbit (when Frodo appeared I almost rolled my eyes). But that is my only gripe with the movie, it was wonderful.
Bring the noise.

I find this film to be a waste of time. I was so disappointed with Lord Of The Rings part one because I was the movie theatre waiting for an ending, and all I got was a "to be continued" screen. It didn't impress me then, and it still doesn't impress me now.

I rather enjoyed it.
Especially smeagol. His rendering was incredibly lifelike and a bit terrifying.
