From what I hear it's coming to the 360, so why not?Doesn't Microsoft have an exclusivity deal with Mojang?

Microsoft owns the 360, and they made an exclusivity deal with Mojang so it wouldn't go to other platforms. I think it's timed though, so we might see MC on the Wii U in a few years. From what I hear it's coming to the 360, so why not?

Sorry, I thought you said "Doesn't MineCraft have a deal with Mojang". Epic fail on my part. lolMicrosoft owns the 360, and they made an exclusivity deal with Mojang so it wouldn't go to other platforms. I think it's timed though, so we might see MC on the Wii U in a few years.

Minecraft is good enough on my PC, I have two mods installed and I'm happy with it. Unless something new appears in the Wii U Or Xbox 360 versions. Then I won't be buying. They most likely won't have mod support on these platforms (until 1.8). So the game will get boring quickly. After you've made a good base and have full diamond stuff, then unless you add mods the game becomes boring quickly.

Wow........ just wow. Doesn't that person understand that they can get Minecraft for their PC? Which, I might add, has the best control scheme for the game (no beating mouse + keyboard for Minecraft, IMO) and is fully open to modding?I know a lot of people who are excited for Minecraft on the 360. I know one person who even told me they would sell their PS3 just to buy an Xbox360 to play it. So, I think that would be great if it came to the Wii U.
I think Minecraft on the Wii U would be great for driving interest, but I doubt it is actually well suited to the console at all (unless, perhaps, it uses Wii Remotes instead of the tablet controller, as they are a decent substitute for a mouse). I still see Minecraft's true spirit as a computer game, though.

I never played MC, but I don't think it'll come to Wii U because it's a PC-based game.
It's coming to the Xbox 360 though, so I don't see why it shouldn't be released on other consoles. I think that a lot of PC games would work better on the Wii U than on other consoles. The controller's touchscreen and the wii remote's motion controls could both be used as suitable substitutes for a computer mouse.
