To me, the touchscreen is genious but the problem I see is that gamers might get confused on which screen to pay attention to. Most people hold the controllers down on their lap while staring at the screen but with the touchscreen, you head will get a workout having to watch both tv and touchscreen for game information.

You guys see a problem with this also?

There should be support for only one screen, as in the E3 video, the first point about the Wii U was that you could play a game while a Television program can run on the TV screen. They'll make it work.

Why would you even need to look at both screens as once? You can just quickly glance down to see your health, inventory, ect.

I'm pretty sure you'd have to have some kind of mental problem to be confused by the two screens. The point is that all of the minimaps and HUDs and crap can go on the controller screen, leaving the TV screen with a clear view of the game world.

I just think it might be a minor annoyance have to look up and down from the controller

Why would you even need to look at both screens as once? You can just quickly glance down to see your health, inventory, ect.

What if you get information fast and your busy in a war and getting info through the controller?

Do you know what a DS is?

What if you get information fast and your busy in a war and getting info through the controller?

They won't do that. Or else, the game won't sell due to the reviews.

There will be times when both screens can be utilised at once. I guess it's really up to the dev and how imaginative they can get.

To be honest, I doubt that the Wii U will give your head a particularly strenuous workout. In most games you'll probably just glance at the touchscreen occasionally. You won't be changing the screen you're looking at every two seconds. If the occasional downwards glance is too much effort though, you can just use the controller as the main screen.

Do you drive? I don't find it particularly difficult to look around and in mirrors, constantly switching my attention from one place to another. This is very natural way of doing things, do you look down at your keyboard when typing and back up at the screen to read what you have written every few words? Low-level multi-tasking, like this, is part of living. You might as well say that you are not sure you can walk and chew gum at the same time...

Yep, I agree with this, they will they won't put the action on the controller, it will probably only be used for your health, inventory etc but I guess some developers might get a bit creative and have two different pieces of main action on each of the screens. The World Ends With You Wii U?

I don't actually care either way as long as the games utilize full use of the Wii U's capabilities...

3D Map exploration on the touch screen would be awesome.
